Hubert N. Alexander

Hubert N. Alexander, Age 76, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. Born January 28, 1934 in Glouster, Ohio, to Effie (Knight) and Abe Alexander Married Joan Clonch on May 13, 1960 in Painesville, Ohio Hubert worked at The Rayon in Painesville, where he met his wife. He also worked for several years at Allied Chemical and retired from Eltech Systems in Chardon. He was a member of the Geneva VFW. Loved his family and had a deep devotion to his 6 grandchildren. He is survived by Daughters, Vikki Betts of Geneva, Kathy (Derrick Yopp) Schwartfigure-Yopp of Geneva, Bobbi Alexander of Geneva; Son, Kelly Alexander of Wilmington, NC; Grandchildren, Emeri, Drew, & Hanna Schwartfigure, Cori & Dani Alexander, Megen Betts; Special thanks to hospice volunteer, Sandy Gibson, for her gentle care. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; parents; brothers, Errette & Gerald Alexander; sisters, Grace Leonard & Irene Alexander. Friends will be received 7-9 pm, Monday, July 26, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
