Homer R. Black, age 80, resident of Madison,Ohio passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Madison Healthcare.
He was born June 2, 1931 in Harding, WVA to Ivy (Koon) and Elva Black.
He was married to Vonda Imogene Rowan.
Homer served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict. He worked for 25 years at IRC Fibers and then at Midwest Materials. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vonda Imogene Black; parents, Elva Black and Ivy Black Shipman; sisters, Glenna Mae and Lena Mae; brothers, Elva and Arkie Black; daughter-in-law, Kaye Black.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Madison Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Rd., Madison, Ohio.
