Herbert E. Schneider, Jr., 59, of Burton, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 unexpectedly at his home in Burton. He was born October 5, 1957, in Cleveland, the son of the late Herbert and Marcia (Flick) Schneider, Sr., and had been a lifelong area resident. Herb graduated from Geneva High School and went on to serve his country in the Navy. Herb worked at Kraftmaid in Middlefield for over 20 years. He was a member of the Geneva Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2243 and Geneva VFW Post #6846. He was a great drummer and truly marched to his own beat. A good loyal friend he will be missed by many. Herb is survived by his brother Darrell Schneider of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Herb's Life will be held June 24, 2017, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the VFW, 76 Depot Street Geneva, Ohio 44041.   1. I just read the news of Herb's passing. Words can not express my feelings right now. Darrell you have my thoughts with you and your family. Herbie was one of my best friends in high school. Your family was my second family, no question. I will always remember the good times at your farm and the close friendship I had with you and your brother and parents. May he rest in peace.
