Herbert Chenoweth Sr

Herbert Chenoweth, Sr., age 85, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home. Born March 28, 1928 in Maybe, WV, he was the son of Ann (Pritt) & Carl Chenoweth. He married Betty Lou Mace on November 21, 1946 in Elkins, West Virginia. Herbert worked for the Industrial Rayon and American Cyanamid, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Fellowship Church and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Sue (Darwin, Sr.) Jeppe, Deborah (William Johns) Clugh, both of Geneva and his son, Herbert (Violet) Chenoweth, Jr., of OR; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Anna (Sonny) Hamblet of FL; brother. Jerry (Carol) Chenoweth of Perry. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers, Marvin, Carl & Thomas Chenoweth; son-in-law, Robert Clugh.. Family will be received 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041.
