Henry J. Cvetko, Age 85, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, Ohio. Born March 2, 1927 in Geneva, Ohio to Pauline (Malnar) & Anton Cvetko, Sr. He was Director of Engineering for Astatic Corp. 1945 Graduate of Collinwood High School and 1952 Graduate of Fenn College where he earned bachelors degrees in both civil engineering and physics. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. Mr. Cvetko retired from Astatic Corp. in 1979, where he invented and patented the Golden Eagle Microphone. He enjoyed music and played the accordion in a Polka band which made several TV appearances on the Polka Variety Show in Cleveland, Ohio. He was also an avid golfer and bowler. He is survived by Daughter Charlotte (Oscar) Kobernik Conneaut, OH Granddaughters: Colleen Anthony Conneaut, OH Kelly (Jeff) Temple Conneaut, OH Great Grandchildren: Kyle Kobernik Piper Anthony Nephews: Anton "Chippy" (Reem) Cvetko MI Barry (Kim) Cvetko Willowick, OH Great Niece: Alexandria Cvetko MI Best Friends & Neighbors, Steve and Elaine Schafer He was preceded in death by Parents, Brother, Anton Cvetko, Jr., Most faithful 4-legged companion, Ziggy At his request, private family services were observed.
