Henry G. Fix
April 2, 1943 ~ July 25, 2024
After living a courageous life that was full of adventure, Henry G. Fix Jr. Age 81 of Geneva, passed away on July 25th at 1:25pm. Born on April 2, 1943 in Cleveland he was a son of late Henry Fix, Sr. And Anne (Valko) Fix. He married his soulmate and best friend, Rodica S. Puipetrescu, at Ferrante Winery in Geneva on September 3, 1982.
With his passion for life, Henry retired from Lubrizol as a maintenance mechanic in 1984 to pursue his dream and eventually become an accomplished Thoroughbred Trainer. His love for horses has been passed down to his youngest daughter and her children.
Beyond his love of horses, Henry had numerous hobbies including boating, a love for outdoors, wine-making that he shared with his beloved wife, spending time cooking in the kitchen, along with teaching his granddaughters all he could. Henry lived up to his last name “Fix” by being able to do anything he put his mind to from building their family home, fixing his own cars, working on boats, and selflessly mentoring anyone that knew him.
Henry is survived by his loving wife, Rodica; their daughter Rachel (Todd) Taylor; granddaughters Gabriella Montez and Mia Taylor, who fondly called him Grampy.
He is also survived by his children from his first marriage and grandchildren. They include daughter Mari Fix; son Thomas (Erica) Fix Jr.; and daughter Bethany (Michael) Germano.
Henry is the oldest of seven children. He leaves behind siblings Elizabeth (Edward) Godwin, Kristine (Paul) Tucci, Mathew (Terri) Fix Sr., Sally Fix Andrews, and Michelle (Brian) Peck. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas (Cheryl) Fix Sr.
A private celebration of Henry’s Life will take place at Quail Hollow Country Club in Concord. Contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.

Rodica, I was saddened to see that Hank passed away. My thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time of your life.
We have many fond memories of our friendship and time spent on G dock. George and Henry would often be in deep conversation of some technical issue. Henry and his hot dog roasts ventured to the dock as well. We all have had many laughs together whether on or off the dock, in our dinghies at sunset or in water fights.
