Helen Marie Patrick

Helen Marie Patrick, age 68, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. She was born September 12, 1944 in Viden, Germany to Jennie (Potoczek) & Stanley Bielech. Helen married Donald Patrick in Geneva, Ohio, on November 26, 1994. She was a secretary for the Geneva Area Schools for 34 years. A 1963 Graduate of Jefferson High School Helen was active in youth sports clubs and a former member of the Geneva Athletic Boosters. She was former President of Geneva High Booster Club and member of GAMBA and Geneva Women's Club. Helen volunteered for Hospice and served as an election poll worker. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Donald Patrick of Geneva; daughters, Kelly (Justin) Kalina of Chesapeake, VA, Kristi (Michael) Blood of Ashtabula, OH; son, Chip (Crystal) Wludyga of Woodstock, GA; stepsons, Don Patrick of Madison, Daniel Patrick of Mentor; 11 grandchildren; Mother Jennie Bielech of Jefferson; sisters, Donna (Robert) Doyle and Teresa (Ronald) Kidder both of Jefferson; brother, Stanley (Patty) Bielech of Geneva and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Bielech and step son Scott Patrick. Friends will be received 3:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Memorial Service will be 10:00am on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva. Contributions may be made to the family so that a scholarship may be established at Geneva High School, a place she dearly loved.
