Helen M. Burnett, age 84 a resident of Painesville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007.
Born January 29, 1923 in Painesville, to Flossie (Rundell) & Willard Wheeler.
Married John William Burnett I. in Napoleon, Ohio on September 7, 1942.
A 1941 Graduate of Perry High School. She served her country as a ?Rosie the Riviter? during WWII while her husband served in the Army overseas in the Pacific. As a devoted Mother & devote Christian woman she helped many underprivileged children & families. She attended Willoughby Eastlake Practical Nursing School. Helen became a nurse at age 40 and worked in the ICU unit at Lake East Hospital. She was a charter member of Perry Historical Society and member of Painesville Baptist Church. She enjoyed watercolor painting and gardening.
The Loving Wife of John William Burnett I; Devoted mother of John (Jan) Burnett II & Peggy (Lee) Roberts; Beloved grandmother of Keturah (Eric) Kilbourn, Elijah Roberts, John (Toni) Burnett III, Jodie Burnett, Pastor James Burnett, Hannah Roberts, Great Grandmother of Dylan, Jaden Lee, Shea Meara & Lauren.
Helen was preceded in death by Her Parents Flossie & Willard Wheeler and 3 Brothers Wayne, Robert & Franklin Wheeler
Friends will be received 7-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 30th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison.
Pastor Robert D. Osborn & Rev. James Burnett will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
