Helen L. Main

Helen L. Main, age 89, of Perry Twp., passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born January 19, 1929 in Majorsville, PA., the daughter of Pearl J. (Plants) and William Milliken. She married Kenneth Main September 27, 1950 in Majorsville, PA.
Helen worked as a seamstress for several companies including Bobbie Brooks, and Gary Allen Sportswear. She enjoyed sewing, reading, puzzles, and especially, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Helen was also a member of the Perry United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Gary) Bentley, Sr., Linda (Larry) Hutson, Sr.; David (Cindy) Main, Anita (John) Lucic; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Long.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Main in 1994; brothers, William, Charles Richard, James and Thomas Milliken; sister, Dorothy Jacks; grandson, Brian Main and her parents.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH. Visitation will also be Thursday, October 4, 2018 from noon until the time of a 1p.m. service in the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery.
