Helen D. Carr, Age 96, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Facility in Madison. Born July 10, 1913 in Alexandria, Pennsylvania to Mary (Stark) & Lowen Douds she married Clifford Carr in Pittsburgh, PA on November 23, 1936. Occupation: Homemaker Helen was a member of Park Methodist Church in Madison for over 60 years. She loved working outside, tending to her beautiful flower beds on the family farm in Madison. Surviving Family: daughters, Corinne Dye of Madison, OHIO & Linda Love of Greenville, SC; Son, David Carr of Greenville, SC; Grandsons, Brian (Sybille) Love of Manassas, VA, James Dye of Middletown, DE & Paul (Catherine) Dye of Madison, OH; Great Grandsons, Charles & Joshua. Preceded in Death by: Parents; Husband; 2 Brothers, Harold & Raymond Douds; Sisters, Grace Garlitz & Edna Emanuel, Sister-in-Law: Martha Douds Friends will be received: 6-7:30 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a Funeral Service following at 7:30 pm. Pastor Aletta Burkholder, of Park United Methodist Church of Madison, will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be Island Creek Cemetery, Jefferson County, Ohio.
