Harry Denver Hennessey,age 70, of Montville, Ohio, and formerly a long-time Painesville resident passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in Chardon, OH.
He was born August 20, 1937 in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania to Marie (Keeney) & James Hennessey and married Margaret Sue Prewitt.
He had worked as a welder for Caterpillar then owner/operator of Denver?s Trucking.
He is survived by wife; Sue Hennessey of Montville; 1 Daughter, Jill Gumm of Wickliffe; 6 Sons, Denver J. (Mary) Hennessey of Painesville, Robert Hennessey of Madison, Joseph Hennessey of Madison, Daniel Hennessey of Thompson, Thomas Gumm of Madison and Patrick (Rebecca) Gumm of Willowick; 14 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren
2 Brothers, Ray Hennessey of Painesville and John (Janet) Hennessey of Geneva.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie & James Hennessey;
3 sisters, Ruby Johnson, Lillian Staley, and Jean Lentz; 3 brothers, James, Donald and Melvin Hennessey
Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the funeral home.
Final Resting Place will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
