Grace Palmer, age 95 of Madison, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born May 30, 1926 in Apollo, PA, the daughter of Leslie and Irene (Kennedy) Fitzgerald. Grace worked as a Registered Nurse for Geneva Hospital and later as School Nurse for the Madison School System. She had a passion for serving others, working as a volunteer for Hospice of the Western Reserve, Madison Public Library, Meals on Wheels and Madison Food Bank. She was an active member at Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and bowling. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Booth; son, Walter Taylor; grandchildren, Allison Bourne, Valerie Booth, Kim Taylor, Caitlin Taylor; 3 great-grandchild, Creighton, Brooke and Jordan; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Richard Taylor; second husband, Richard Palmer; son-in-law, Richard Booth; parents; brothers, Grant and Arthur; and sister, Janet Moore. Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Chapel United Methodist Church, 2019 Hubbard Road, Madison, with Pastor Lenore Robinson officiating. Guests in attendance will be required to wear masks. Final Resting Place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
