Gloria J. Kilpatrick

Gloria J. Kilpatrick (nee: Barlow), age 80, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Heartland Of Mentor after a lengthy illness. She was born October 13, 1929 in Afton, Minnesota and was raised in the Akron, OH area. In 1950, she married her one love, George Kilpatrick and during their 57 year marriage they resided in Akron, New Philadelphia, Cleveland and Pt. Clinton. After her husband?s death, she moved to Madison, OH. She leaves behind her adopted daughter Suzanne (James ?J.R.?) Kane of Madison; Sister, Helen (Clarence ?Hack?) Hackathorn of Akron; Brother, Jerry (Janis) Barlow of Ceres, CA; nieces & nephews, Cheryl Morris, Bonni (Frank) Kern, Paula (Brooke) Briner, Holly (Thomas) Marchese, all of the Akron Area, Jerry Barlow, Jr., Jack Barlow, Jamie Barlow and Julie Barlow all of California and many great nieces and nephews; Godchildren, Brent Feorone of Westlake, OH, Dawn Feorene Ciolli of Lakewood, OH and Pamela Gregory of Elyria, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Kilpatrick and parents, Joseph and Crystal (Hawkinson) Barlow. Friends will be received 2-5 pm, Sunday, May 23, 2010 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon, Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Twp., Ohio. Everyone is invited to meet at 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home for prayer before going to the church. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH at the convenience of the family.
