Gladys M. Jelen

Gladys Burkholder Jelen age 84 passed away, Friday February 16, 2007 at her home in Berea. Born in Cleveland on November 26, 1922. Married the late Lad Jelen, Sr in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on 06/15/1940 A 1940 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, and attended Cuyahoga Community College studying psychology & English. She enjoyed playing the guitar. Mrs. Jelen and her husband, Lad Sr., operated a dairy farm, in Granger, Ohio for many years. She is survived by her Sons Lad Jelen, Jr.of Rittman, Ohio & Robert Jelen of Berea, Ohio. She was a Greandmother of six and Great Grandmother of eight. She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Lad Jelen, Sr in 1990; Mother, Agnes Burkholder and Daughter-in-Law Patricia Jelen. Private Family Services we held at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Final resting place at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
