Gertrude O. Doherty, age 88, of Thompson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 At home in Thompson, Ohio. She was born November 21, 1919 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Marguerite Lorella (Warrington) & William Leggett Ogsbury and married Paul Bedford Doherty in New York, NY on 4/10/1943. She was a homemaker and attended Grace Lutheran Church. Worked as a claim supervisor for unemployment for the State of Ohio, Clare Tree Major Children?s Theater Company as touring actress in children?s plays for about 7 years and she was an active member of Almira PTA. She is survived by Daughters, Patricia (David) Talmon of DelMar, CA, Virginia (Russell) Ciphers of Sandusky, OH, Susan Doherty of Broadview Heights, OH, Kathy (LaMar) McClure of Thompson, Deborah (William) Householder of Fairlawn, OH; Son, Paul (Deborah) Doherty of Avon Lake; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews and Many, Many Friends She was preceded in death by Husband, Paul Bedford Doherty; Brothers, William and David Friends will be received 3-5:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Grace Lutheran Church, 8091 Plank Road, Thompson, Ohio. Pastor Ross Fees will be officiating.
