Gerald "Jerry" Craft

Gerald "Jerry" Craft, age 86, of Madison passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Rae-Ann Nursing Home in Geneva. He was born April 15, 1927 in Cleveland.
Jerry attended Madison High School and graduated from Kent State University in 1953. While at the University he met his wife Dorothy, they were married in 1956. Jerry was a U.S. Navy veteran who had been stationed in Guam Island during World War II and was a building contractor serving the Madison area. He built homes and apartments for over 30 years. Jerry loved the outdoors, enjoying tennis and sailing in the summer and skiing in the winter. He was also an avid pilot, flying his single engine plane as far as the Bahama Islands one year.
Gerald is survived by his wife Dorothy; son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law May.
