George Lafayette McDonald age 80 of Perry , Ohio passed away Saturday evening March 3, 2007 at Cardinal Woods Nursing Home in Madison. Born October 6, 1926 in Overton, Tenn. to Molly Doris (McDonald) & Thomas McDonald. Worked as a machinist for Eaton Corp. and Fisher Bodies. Served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He is a Member of VFW in Madison. He loved camping, hunting, sports and fishing. He is survived by his Daughters Gloria (Charles) J. Rapkin of Perry; Carol (William) E. LaForce of Madison; Anita I. (William) Penny of Willoughby, Ohio; Beth (Donald) Allen of Kirtland, Ohio; Sons Thomas L. McDonald of Eastlake, Ohio; Gregory (Laura) McDonald Mentor, Ohio; George (Tracy) M. McDonald of Painesville, Ohio; Joel (Lynn) W. McDonald of Mentor, Ohio; 22 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Sister Betty Joe Dotson of Tennessee; Brother Ted McDonald of Texas and his former wife Iona Barrett of Mentor.
