George H. Davis

George H. Davis, age 88, of Painesville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at Grand River Health and Rehab. He was born March 20, 1935 in Hanover, WV to Aulbra and Hazel (Walker) Davis. He married Mahulda May. George was a Union truck driver and a Teamster. He enjoyed cooking and playing guitar, especially country music. He was also very active with his grandchildren and their activities. He is survived by his daughters, Vera Lake, Lori Stopko, Mary (Leonard) Ward, Janet Aspinwall; son, William Davis; 15 grandchildren; too many great-grandchildren to count; sister, Virgie England; and sister in law, Laura Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mahulda Davis; his parents; brothers, James, Clark and Arnold Davis; and sister, Ella Mae Steele. Friends will be received 10 am to 12 Noon, March 14, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 pm at Trumbull Center Cemetery of Rt 534 in Trumbull.
