Gary and the Wheeler family lived across the street from us. We we were more than neighbors we became lifelong friends. Tim coached Gary in Perry Little League. When we moved Gary was there to help. We also followed his sons in wrestling. He was so proud. We have kept in touch for forty years or more. We became like family and loved him. We are going to miss that smile which he kept throughout his illness. In the past month he remembered things we did years ago. I am glad his pain is over. Every week Tim, Larry and Gary would play basketball at the school. They would ask me if Tim could come out and play. We really miss those times. Love Tim and Sharon.
