Gary D. Adkins, age 58, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 23, 1964 in Cleveland the son of Jim and Patricia (Kralik) Adkins. He married Julie Moyers on March 17, 1984 in Geneva.
Gary Served in the United States Army. He then worked as a geological engineer technician for EDP Consultants. He also served as a professor at Lakeland Community College. Gary loved herb gardening and driving his 1961 Ford Galaxy Starliner. He also loved helping the neighborhood kids and building gnome houses.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Jasmine (Andrew) Walters; grandchild, Taron Walters; mother, Patricia Adkins; and brother, Steven (Karyn) Adkins. He is finally reunited with his father Jim Adkins.
Friends will be received 4-7 pm Monday, May 16, 2022 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva. Service will take place at 12 noon Tuesday, May 17, 2022 with one hour visitation prior to the service. Contributions may be made in Gary’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192.
