Fredrick Evans

Fredrick Evans, 73, of Madison passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at home while with his family. He was born Sept. 27, 1943 to Joseph and Jane (Newman) Evans. Fred married the love of his life, Barbara Engles, in the spring of 1964. Fred retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed conversation and was a practical joker. Fred loved all the family kids and played with them all. When younger he enjoyed travelling with family and camping out. He is survived by wife of 53 years Barb; daughter, Lynda Allen; grandchild, Paul Allen (Jennifer Jaklic) Phillips; great granddaughter, Mia Rae; brothers, Charles (Mary) Evans, Morry (Helen) Evans, Joseph (Gloria) Evans, David (Carol) Evans, and Johnny (Patty Haines) Evans. Fred is preceded by his parents; brother and sister-in-law Alex and Barb. Contributions may be made in Freds name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Rd. Mentor OH 44060. Private family services will be observed at a later date. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is serving the Evans family at this time.
