Frederick Fritz Close Page, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2018 one day before his 84th Birthday. He was cared for by his wife Patty; daughters, Mary and Elizabeth; and the Hospice of the Western Reserve. Fritz retired in Madison because of his cherished childhood memories of his summers at his grandfathers farm on Chapel Road in Madison on the Lake. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patty; daughters Liz (Shane) Mull, Mary (Peter) Schmidt; and five grandchildren, Ethan, Jude, Julia, Loder and Mabry. Fritz was a proud former Marine and a graduate of Penn State. He spent his entire career as an employee of The Aluminum Company of America as a sales representative in the Aero Space and Defense Industry. He was a patron of Rabbit Run Theater, a member of the Madison Historical Society and an Honorary Member of the Madison Garden Club. Friends and family will be received from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday July 21, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home 26 River St. Madison. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions will be welcome at Rabbit Run Community Arts Association, 49 Park Street, or the Madison Historical Society Box 515, or the Madison Garden Club, Box 483; all of Madison, Ohio 44057.
