Freda F. (McClelland) Branem, age 95, of N. Perry, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Geauga Assisted Living in Montville. She was born April 27, 1922 in Willoughby to Grace M. (Osborne) and Charles R. McClelland. She married Robert Branem, Sr. in Willowick, on August 1, 1945.
Freda graduated with a Master Bible Diploma from Baptist Bible Institute in Willoughby Hills. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Willowick for over 70 years. Smart and witty, Freda loved her family and always put others first. Strong in her faith she truly believed in the power of prayer.
She is survived by her children, Sandy (Fred) Hague of Chardon, Bob Branem of Akron, Mona (Bill) Blake of North Perry, Terry (Jessie) Branem of China, Mark (Nancy) Branem of Chardon; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; sisters, Beatrice Chambers, Elizabeth Fussner, Connie Detweiler, Grace McClelland; brothers, Lawnie McClelland, Raymond McClelland, Larry McClelland.
Friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Edwards of Bible Baptist Church in Madison officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery.

Mona and Family. I am sorry to read of the passing of your mother. You may not remember me, but remembering back, years ago, as a teen your mom was an amazing lady and because of her and your family I was led to my relationship with God.
