Fred R. Frisbie Jr, age 88, passed away at his residence on March 9, 2021. He was born July 28, 1932 in Leroy Township the son of Fred Raymond and Esther (Brainard) Frisbie. He married, Carol Arilson in Geneva on January 20, 2001. Fred was a 1950 graduate of Geneva High school and a 1954 graduate of Bowling Green State University where he was the university’s Cheerleading mascot “Freddie Falcon”. He also served as an officer in the Army Airborne Ancillary with the 11th and 101st Airborne Division. There he implemented the first youth activities position for an Army Post, supervising the education and extracurricular activities of young adults. Fred was involved in many community groups including the Kiwanis, the boy Scouts and was a member of the Episcopal Church serving in many positions there. He also served on the Ashtabula County Board of Health and in many other capacities in the area including the American Red Cross, and the GHS Class reunions. Survivors include his wife, Carol; daughters Amy Jo Ramey and Dr. Stephanie E. Crook; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, JoAnn (Matash) Frisbie; his second wife Barbara (Stiritz) Frisbie; and son Michael D. Frisbie. A Funeral Service will take place for his family at Christ Episcopal Church in Geneva. Behm Family Funeral Home of Geneva is assisting the family.   1. To the Family: We are saddened to hear that Fred has passed away. We last saw him about a year ago and had breakfast with him at one of his favorite spots in Madison. He and Carol would stop by our home on their way to or from his family. Always the gentleman and loving husband to Carol. We will miss him dearly. Our most heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
