Fred P. Wiegert, age 77, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born August 4, 1939 in Meriden, Connecticut to Esther (Porter) and George Wiegert. Fred drove truck for Best Way Trucking for many years and received a perfect 1 million mile plaque. He served in the US Army and was a member of AmVets and VFW. He loved to golf and bowl. Fred was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Ohio State. He enjoyed Red Lobster, popcorn, Pepsi and perch from Brennans. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Deluigi, Lori Waid, Heidi Webster; grandchildren, Logan Kirby, Lenny Kirby, Amanda Wiegert, Miranda Dishon, Mikayla Webster, Joshua DeLuigi; great-grandchildren, Sean, Chase, Alanna, Logan, Endora, Noah, Emma, Cierra, Enoch, Sophia; siblings, Mildred (Joe) Clark, Jay (Sue) Woodford; and grand-dog, Bert Barnes. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Wilma (Hal) Summerville; brother, Jack Wiegert; and former wife, Wanda Wiegert. A Memorial Service performed by Hospice of the Western Reserve will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, 6831 Chapel Road, Madison, OH 44057. Contributions may be made in Fred's name to the Activities Department at Cardinal Woods. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family. I'm so sorry grandpa that I did not get to spend enough time with you I really do hope that you don't hold it against me I am just so sorry that drugs had a hold so strong on me that I didn't have the ability or the will power to get away and most of the time I didn't even want to I was so messed up I am still dealing with it i am so ashamed of my self for not takin the time to even make a phone call I love u and every one else so much but lack the ability to show my true emotions please just believe in me the way god believes and I hope to see u again in the end R.I.P. LOVE YOU GOODNIGHT
