Fred Martinchuk

Fred Martinchuk, Age 76, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009. Born January 28, 1933 in Madison to Stefanina (Marunowski) & Trofim Martinchuk, he married Mary Wiles on July 15, 1960. Fred was a bus driver and head mechanic for Geneva and Ashtabula City Schools. He also served as the Geneva Area Schools transportation supervisor and worked for the City of Geneva.. Attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison and was a U.S. Army Veteran, having been stationed at Ft. Hood and in Germany. He maintained the family farm and he was always doing for others. He is survived by wife, Mary Martinchuk of Geneva; Daughter, Anne Pfouts of Geneva; Grandsons, Matthew Sister, Anna (John) Wladyka of Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister, Mary Martinchuk Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3050 McMackin Road, Madison, Ohio.
