Franklin E. Dobbins

Franklin E. Buck Dobbins, age 85, of Madison, OH, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Tri Pointe Medical Center, Concord, Ohio. He was born July 14, 1933 in Gilmer County, WV, the son of Fredrick and Fannie (Cunningham) Dobbins. He was baptized at Knotts Baptist Church in Orma, West Virginia. He married Delma Pat Jones on August 26, 1951 in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia.
Franklin loved the outdoors, spending time shooting, hunting, and fishing and was a member of the NRA and Marxman Gun and Archery Club. He especially enjoyed spending time fishing and tending his garden. He was also a huge fan of Tiger Woods, following news and watching his game on the Golf Channel.
He is survived by his daughters, Frankie (Frank) Rivera, Deborah (Song Crawford) Berry, Denise (Kevin Morris) Yankie; grandchildren: Patricia (Shelby) Ashburn, Tiffany (Dan) McCarty, Franco Rivera, Jessie (Laura Jones) Berry, Corey (Heather) Yankie, Kaitlyne (Adam) Tapia; 10 great- grandchildren; and sister, Pauline (Marvin Ray) Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delma Pat Dobbins in 2015; sons, Franklin E. Jr., Bruce E. Dobbins; sisters, Manoka and Betty; and brothers, Charles and Jack Dobbins.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057 with a Memorial Service immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m.

So sorry for your loss. Never knew your Dad but remember your Mom very well. She was a 1st cousin and growing up we seen a lot of her. After I left that area in 1954 never seen her but once at family reunion. She may have left that area before me.
