Frank Scibona

Frank Scibona Funeral services for Frank Scibona, 87, of Harpersfield Township, will be 11 a.m. Monday at The Behm Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 26 River St., Madison. Mr. Scibona passed away Aug. 2, 2007, at his home. He was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Mirabella, Sicily to Dominica (Sprigilone) and Vincenzo Scibona. He loved his pets, had a passion for farming and often times could be found at the Bloomfield Auctions. He and his wife spent their lives caring for their farm and lovingly raising their family together. Mr. Scibona owned and operated Scibona Farm in Harpersfield. Survivors are his daughter, Amelia (Richard) Janco of Madison; sons, Vince Scibona of Harpersfield and Gene Scibona of Harpersfield; daughter-in-law, Denise Scibona of Harpersfield; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Barnes of Macedonia. His wife, Katherine "Nellie" (Pugliese) Scibona, whom he married June 20, 1942, in Geneva, died in January 2000. His son, Frank Scibona Jr.; brothers, Rosario, Salvatore and Ross Sam; and parents, are also deceased. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Howard Davis will officiate the service. Burial will be in Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Township.
