Frank Samuel Geistle Jr.
July 9, 1938 ~ August 11, 2021
Frank Samuel Geistle Jr., age 83, went to meet his Heavenly Father on August 11, 2021. He was born July 9, 1938 in Michigan to Frank and Sarah Geistle, who preceded him in death.
Frank will be remembered by many neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family for going into work early to make coffee, always working hard, always being stern but kind, and helping people any way he could. Frank found much joy in spending time with family, traveling with his wife, working in the flower and vegetable garden, fishing, hunting, bird watching, and being around and talking to other people. Frank worked many years at CEI, at the Holden Arboretum after he retired, and even traveled to Alaska to assist forest rangers. Frank also proudly served in the U.S Army.
Frank leaves behind his wife Mae; children, Elizabeth Beard, Mary Daughters, and Frank “Sam” Geistle; step-children, Mathew McCabe, Vincent McCabe, Micheal McCabe; his grandchildren, Danielle Quinteros, Danina O’Leary, Cherish Chubb, Samantha Thomlison, David Beard, Rory Becker; 13 great grandchildren, and many other friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
Friends and family will be received 3-5 pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison.

We are deeply sorry for your loss
So sorry for your loss I'll always remember the cruise we took so many years ago.
Mae and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Frank lives in all our memories, and he'll always be a part of our hearts.
In memory of Frank Samuel Geistle Jr., Kathleen Aikins-Coggins lit a candle
A good and loyal friend of about 50-years to my Dad, John Shannon Jr. Over the years, I would overhear them on the phone discussing various issues. Although they were about 180-degrees on politics, Frank was about the only person Dad would joke and be civil to on certain matters and I think that made them greater friends. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are for you, his family, at this time. Greg Shannon.
