Frank A. Sturm

Frank A. Sturm age 85 a resident of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Madison. Born October 2, 1921 in Wickliffe to Josephine (Normali) & Anton Sturm Worked at True Temper, retiring in 1981, also operated his own excavating company Frank was a 1941 Graduate of Platt R. Spencer High School. Served in the U.S. Army in WWII in the European Theater, received a Purple Heart. Lifelong member of VFW Post# 6846 and Geneva Fraternal Order of Eagles. Enjoyed dancing to Slovenian Polka music, gardening, golfing, bowling and tinkering. He is survived by his Nephews Joe ( Marlane) Sturm of Monroeville, Indiana; William (Pat) Sturm of Geneva; Niece Kathy (Ken) Frak of Wickliffe; 6 Nieces; Great Nephews & Great Nieces and Lifelong Companion Dorothy Ferguson. He was preceded in death by His Parents; Brothers, Joseph & Anthony Sturm and Niece Elaine McGillicuddy Friends will be received 5-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 12th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 13th at Assumption Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
