Floyd Schupska

Floyd ?Butch? Schupska, Age 62, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011,from complications of Melanoma of the Blood and Brain. Born August 29, 1948 in Painesville, to Verna (Jones) & Floyd Henry Schupska he married Elizabeth ?Sue? (King) Riel. Butch retired from Morton Salt after 40 years. He attended Harvey High School. He was a Master Sargent in the Marine Corps from 1965-1969 and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Butch was a member of the American Legion Post 601 and a life member of VFW Post 8548 where he was a past Quartermaster and Trustee and currently was serving as Surgeon. He was a hero to many and a friend to everyone. He would always help people, liked to fish, and visit his brother in Tennessee. He is survived by Wife, Sue Schupska of Madison; Stepchildren, Chuck (Carol) Arndt of Hambden, Jennifer Flynn of Kentucky, Larry Riel of Dallas, TX, Jane Riel Stange of Painesville, Bill (Stacy) Riel of Sawyersville, PA; Grandchildren,Josh Arndt, Jessica Stange, Elizabeth Stange, Joe DiSalvo, Michael DiSalvo, Angela (Patrick) Newberry, Corrine DiSalvo; Great Grandchild, Jeanine Newberry; Sisters, Debbie (Stephen) Molinski of Painesville, Mary (Joe Janor) Picou of Madison, Rita (Jr.) Collett of Mentor; Brother, DeForest (Donna) Schupska of Clarksville, TN; Nieces & Nephews, Kevin Luggelle, Michael Luggelle, Patty Luggelle, Sarah Schupska, Caleb Schupska, Michael Picou; Great Nieces & Nephews, Miranda & Jacob McGuire, Kaitlyn & Nathan Luggelle. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Janetta Schupska; Parents Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm, Friday, February 4, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery.
