  1. Floyd,

I guess this is it. No more wondering if you will ever explain your side or listen to mine. I spent so much of my life hurt by the pain of you leaving me and then angry about the pain that I feel.

I am sad that you are gone but I’ve had this same sadness for a long time. Going forward, I will let all the sadness go. I will think about the few good times we shared. I will stop wondering why and just accept that it is over. I will begin to tell myself that you didn’t want to hurt me, you just couldn’t figure out how to stop it, maybe too much time had passed.

I am sure there are things that you pushed down to get through every day without me, and now you need peace. I forgive you.

  2. My only memory’s was when you would show up in your blue car to pickup Mel up and when you brought me the Skipper Barbie Doll, that was my favorite doll. But I also remember the days you said you would come and never showed up. I hope you were able to find peace and forgiveness. May you RIP.
