Fay V. Drain, age 85, of Perry passed away January 9, 2018 at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born February 12, 1932 in Onego, WV to Elva (Lambert) and Clarence Lester Turner. Fay married Kenneth N. Drain on March 9, 1955 in Fairport Harbor. She was a gracious loving mother and homemaker. She showed her love for her Lord in every aspect of her life. She was a mother to the whole neighborhood including Jim and Sandy Boggs and Larry and Wanda Barnett. She was a counselor, prayer warrior and friend to all, a prime example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She was always accepting and loving, able to see the image of God in every person. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible school, and Pioneer Girls at Faith Baptist Church. She helped with the Perry Good News Club for over 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Doug) Matheny; sons, Clarence H. Bucky (Kay) Drain, Kenneth Robert (Jennie) Drain, Stoney Wayne (Karolyn) Drain; grandchildren, Kristilyn (Tim) Bates, Amanda (Will) Horvath, Tamara (Todd) Hutson, Dustin (Chasity) Drain, Brandon (Sarah) Drain, Stacey (James) Burnett, Milo Drain, Stephen (Sarah) Drain, Craig, Evan and Diana Drain, many Great Grandchildren and Great -Great-Grandchildren; nieces, Patricia Long, Marvin (Pam) Turner and Theresa Turner. Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; sister, Anna Mae; brother, Lester Stoney Turner; sister-in-law, Gerry Turner; nephew, Darrell Turner. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, 3003 Narrows Road, Perry, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday January 12, 2018 with her son, Pastor Stoney Drain officiating. There will be one hour of calling prior to service. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good News Club, care of Faith Baptist Church, 3003 Narrows Rd., Perry, Ohio 44081.   1. Family, We are so sorry you all are going through this. Faye has sat by the bedside of a lot of individuals as they passed into the presence of the Lord. I know they all were waiting with open arms for her. She is now rejoicing with all her family and friends. For those of us that know Jesus as our personal Savior will see her in the future.   4. Sorry for your loss and Heaven's gain. She taught all 4 of my grandchildren in Good News at Perry. Last summer when she was in the hospital my husband and I went to see her, she ask me how all 4 of my grandchildren was doing, each by name. They all are closer to the Lord because of her teaching.   6. Praying for the entire family. I did not have the privilege of knowing Mrs. Drain, but I am blessed each week through Pastor Stoney's messages. Death cannot erase the wonderful memories you must have of your love one. God blessings to you!!!

  11. The last conversation I had with Mrs. Drain was maybe five years ago at the Clinic. She was as sharp as a tack, remembering things I had forgotten. Such a wonderful Christian lady. Incredible example. Diana, Buck, Kenny and Stoney, I grieve for you. But you had the best. God bless.
