Fannie D. Moore, 73, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family. Born October 4, 1935 in Burton, Ohio to Katherine (Farmwald) & Dan Fisher she married Frank Moore in Johnson City, TN on June 19, 1951. Frank and Fannie have been residents of Wilmington, NC since July 1971 after moving from Perry, Ohio. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family's needs ahead of her own. She is survived by her husband, Frank C. Moore of Wilmington, NC., son Frank Lee Moore and wife Cindy of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH, daughter Judy Ann Groves of Matthews, NC., son Terry Allen Moore and wife Cathy of Wrightsville Beach, NC., son Kevin Jerome Moore and wife Valerie of Clarkston, MI, daughter Carole Jean McLean and husband James of Burgaw, NC., and son Shawn Dale Moore of Apex, NC.; eleven grandchildren: Leslie, Jason, Lindsey, Sarah, Andrea, Alex, Zech, Sam, Casey, Michaela and Jamie; three sisters: Lydia Ann, Emma and Sarah; and three brothers Sam Fisher, Dan Fisher, and Allen Fisher. She is also survived by her dog ?Chewy?. She was preceded in death by her Parents, brothers John Fisher, Eli Fisher, and Andrew Fisher. Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Coble, Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, Oleander Chapel, Wilmington, NC. Friends will also be received from 6-8pm on Friday, April 3, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio Funeral Service will be 10am Saturday, April 4, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Rev. Kelly Irish, of St. Anne?s Anglican Church, will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
