Evelyn Fox, age 102, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday August 5, 2018. Evelyn was born on August 28, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Sophia (Kryzopolski) and William Sternberg. She married Stephen Fox on July 25, 1936 in Euclid, Ohio.

Evelyn was a member of St. Christines Church in Euclid as well as a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Madison. She looked forward to playing bingo and cards. In her spare time, she could be found crocheting. Most of all, Evelyn loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne W. (Marilou) and Stephen C. (Linda) Fox; daughters, Patricia (Matthew) Wickert, Linda (Jeffrey) McQuinley, Kathleen Kate (Terry) Pott; sister, Marge Heidenreich of Tucson, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Scheff, and husband, Stephen Fox.

Friends will be received from 3-5:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 8, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd. Madison, Ohio. Final Resting Place will take place at Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
