Evelena Ruth Roy

Evelena R. ""Lena"" Roy, 87, of Perry, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison. Born May 21, 1924, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to Hallie (Cherry) and Neil Davis, she married Gerald E. Roy on June 18, 1943, in Clarksburg, W.Va. Evelena was a member of Perry United Methodist Church and the Fairport Harbor Senior Center. Survivors are her two daughters, Linda (Tom) Fleck of Tallahassee, Fla., and Diana (Kenneth) Rodd of Perry; two sons, Arthur (Janice) Roy of Corpus Christi, Texas and Gerald (Sandy) Roy of Kirtland; and sister, Betty (John) Carson of Carnesville, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Roy; and sisters, Alice Pado, Frances Pado, Anita Ziegler and Margarette Davis. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Jensen of Perry United Methodist Church will be officiating. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery.
