Eugene W. Roper

Eugene W. Roper, age 94, of Sudbury, Ontario for 30 years, formerly of Madison, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He was born November 13, 1913 in Willoughby to Alice (Jordan) & Wayne Roper and married Mary Zehradnicek. He formerly was a welding foreman at Victor Browning Crane Co. He had a strong interest in hunting and fishing. He is survived by Daughters, Mary Jean (Tony) Mohnar of Madison, Patricia Kirshstein of Madison, Kathy (Andy) Anderson of TN; Sons, James (Lydia) Roper of France, Terry (Jean) Roper of Madison, Mark Roper of Dayton; 17 Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Memorial Service will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison. Rev. Kelly Irish will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be in Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
