Eugene "Geno" Kline
January 23, 1930 ~ December 7, 2013
Eugene "Geno" Kline, age 83, a resident of Mentor and formerly of Madison, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Altercare of Mentor. Born January 23, 1930 in Stow, Ohio he was the son of Mabel Viola (Klein) & Walter T. Kline. Geno served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1945 to 1948 as a Flight Engineer on B-29's in the European Theater, 352nd Bomber Squadron, 301st Bomb Group. He was a 50+ year member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Painesville, serving as an ordained minister for years. He worked as a bricklayer foreman for Kline Construction for 20 years. He was also a member of the IUBAC Bricklayers Local 16.
Geno loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, baseball, the Cleveland Indians and playing golf. Most of all he enjoyed helping anyone with anything at any time.
He is survived by his children; Laurence Kline of Concord, Jonathan (Annette) Kline of Fort Walton Beach, FL, David Kline of Madison, and Lisa Kline Fedele of Perry. He had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Kline of Weston, Ohio; and sister, Patty (Kline) Hosenbuhler of Canton. Geno was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mabel Kline and 12 siblings.
His family will receive friends and family from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service for Geno will be at 10:00am on Friday, December 13th at the funeral home.

Final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, OH.
