Esther V Norris

Esther V. Norris, age 92 of Perry, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born July 11, 1922 in Lumberport, WV, she was the daughter of Alda (Robey) & Marion Shreve. She married Haymond Norris on September 20, 1941 in Cumberland, MD. Esther had worked at Rayon, L & K Restaurant in Perry, Painesville City Schools and Lake East Hospital. She was a 1940 graduate of Lumberport WV High School. Esther was a member of Perry First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed reading, talking on the phone, sewing and walking. She is survived by her son, Kendall (Johnelle) Norris of Oro, AZ; grandchildren, Peter, Alexandra (James) sisters, Edna Stemple of Clarksburg, WV, Doris (Lawrence) Isner of Painesville, Catherine Shreve of Perry and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Randall; grandson, Caleb; parents; brothers, Clyde & Robert; sister, Georgia Lea Smith. Friends will be received 10:30 – 11:30 AM, Monday, December 1, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM with Pastor Michael Cole, Perry First Baptist Church, officiating. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery.
