Esther Jean Springer

Esther Jean Springer, Age 77, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 Geneva Village Retirement Community in Geneva, Ohio after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born December 31, 1932 in Rainelle, West Virginia to Ocie (Rife) & Therman Bennett, she married William A Springer at the Church of Christ in Madison, Ohio on November 30, 1969. Esther worked for Elster Perfection for 17 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Madison. She also was a member of Madison Country Club and the Lake County YMCA. She loved spending time with her family, playing with the grandchildren and helping others. Survived by her Husband, William A. Springer of Madison; sons, Richard L. McClure of Madison, Terry R. McClure of Madison; Daughter, Jean M. Argo of Madison; 3 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Ann (Dave) Semat of Delaware; Brother-in-Law, Paul Springer of Cleveland; Sister-in-Law, Charlotte (Bill) Harman of Atlanta, GA. Preceded in Death by her Parents. Friends will be received 6-8 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Private family Graveside service will be observed.
