Esther "Billie" Mellon

Esther "Billie" Mellon, age 68, of Geneva, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on December 31, 1944 to Samuel William Myers and Esther Gelene (Hinkle) Dilly.
Billie loved ceramics, baking, gardening and fishing. Later in life she became a fan of Nascar and pro-wrestling. Billie was an animal lover and cared for many dogs and cats, all of which brought her great comfort.
She is survived by her sons, David Szekely, Wayne (Sandra) Szekely; grandchildren, Taylor and Nathaniel Szekely, Kimberly (James) Carpenter, James (Carrie) Dalin, Christine (Shawn) Spade and Michael (Kailene) Szekely; brothers, Samuel D. (Jeanne) Myers, Benjamin (Bonnie Montgomery) Myers; sisters, Zona James, Carol (Glenn) Phillips, Virginia Sue "Ginny" Sidlo; beloved and special friend, Jim Ball. Billie also leaves behind many loved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Brady Dilly.
Friends will be received 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057; followed by a service at 6 p.m. Rev. Bruce Hitchcock of Geneva First United Methodist Church will be officiating.
