Ernest H. Brown

Ernest H. Brown, age 84 of Madison, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Facility. Born June 25, 1933 in Painesville, he was the son of Ruby (Patchett) & George Brown. He married Billie Yates in Old Ford, Tennessee on September 30, 1961
Ernest served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Machine Repairman, for 30 years at Addressograph Mulitigraph and was a Grade A Tool and Die Maker. He also worked for Goldburg's in Beechwood. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Brown of Madison; daughter, Julie (Richard) Urch of Harpersfield; son, Michael George Brown of Madison; grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Larry Haddox, Jeremy Ramsey, Michael C. Brown (Dawn), Amanda S. Stoneman (Brad), Samantha M. Hoffman (Jessie), Brandy S. Brown (James), and Tiffanie Urch; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annabelle Justice, Shirley Rackley, Eileen Evans, and Jacqueline Harper.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby (Patchett) Brown; foster parents, Clyde and Margerite Spear whom he loved always; brother, Wallace Brown; and sister, Clare Sue Brown.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place at North Madison Cemetery.
