Ernest Carson Rogers, age 84, of Madison, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at his home. He was born December 11, 1938, in Thompson, the son of Harmon and Audrey (Carson) Rogers.
A 1956 graduate of Thomson High School, (Ernest) Carson was a Police Officer in Madison Village and Township for several years. Carson built many homes in his community and owned and operated Rogers Builders until he retired.
He is survived by his daughters, Robyn Rogers of Bowling Green, OH and Renee Monroe of Grand River; son, Robert (Patty) Rogers of North Kingstown, RI; grandchildren, Jayson (Meg) Rogers, Nicholas (Justin) Walstrom, Jessica (Mike) Damrath-Atwood, Jeremy (Cassandra) Cross, Julie Cross, Mark, Jordan, and Lauren Rogers; great-grandchildren, Viktor, Benjamin, Oliver; brother, George (Effie) Rogers; sister Emma McGuire, sister-in-law Sandy Fidel, and numerous special nieces and nephews. Carson was predeceased by his parents, his wife Patti, son Ralph; sister Luella and brother-in-law Harold Scheve, brother Walter Rogers, and brother-in-law Ted McGuire.

Carson will be missed by me and my family. We have been friends for decades. Carson was one of the easiest going men I’ve ever known in my 83 years.
He was also a very talented craftsman.
Again me will be missed alt by many people in our little town of Madison!!
