Enola M. Cowger Age 89 (although she always claimed to be 37!)of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Wed., March 31, 2010 University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. Born September 29, 1920 in, Jefferson, Ohio to Mary (Widmer) & Thomas C. Cornish, she married Cleon Russell Cowger in Auburn, Indiana on August 21, 1937 Nonie was a member of Geneva First United Methodist Church, where she was a member and former secretary of the Miriam Circle. Also a member of Grace Chapter #11 of the Order of the Eastern Star and UH Geneva Medical Center Auxilliary, where she volunteered at the hospital gift shop for over 33 years. Noni also volunteered at the Red Cross Bloodmobile. She enjoyed sewing, reading and dancing. She is survived by Grandson, Allen ?Bud? Willis of Harpersfield; Great Grandchildren, Mary Kay (Kevin) Shea of Chardon, Jessica (Buddy) Crawford of Leroy, Albert Deems of Geneva, Tara (Chris) Kandybski of Havelock, N.C., Joseph Willis of Ocala, Florida; Great-Great- Grandchildren:, Dominic, Brennen, Christopher and Alexis Shea, Matthew, Randy and Jordan Deems. She was preceded in death by Husband of 65 years, Cleon R. Cowger in 2002; Daughter, Sharon (Cowger) Willis; Granddaughter, Mary Kay (Willis) Deems; Infant Grandson, Robert Willis; Parents; 3 brothers, Winton, Vernon and Lyman Cornish; Sister, Martha Hart Friends will be received from 10 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Memorial Service will follow visitation at 11:00 am at the funeral homes with Rev. David Hill of Geneva First United Methodist Church, officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Contributions may be made to Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
