Emogene "Emmie" Rucks

Emogene "Emmie" R. Rucks , Age 92, of Geneva, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 Rae-Ann Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. Born April 6, 1920 in Hacker Valley, W.VA. to Laura M. (Pudder) & Walter T. Cutlip, she married Rondal Rucks on January 26, 1936 in Bergoo, West Virginia. She was a seamstress at Gary Allen Sportswear and Con Lea Nursing Home. Emmie was a member of Geneva Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and loved spending time with her family. She loved cooking for her family, working in her garden and singing. She is survived by Daughter: Norma (William) Saunders of Geneva Daughter-in-Law: Wanda Rucks of Wrightsville, PA 6 Grandchildren 16 Great-Grandchildren Sisters: Della Lehr of Geneva Geraldine Pennell of Canton, OH She was preceded in death by her Husband, Rondal; Parents; Son, James, Daughter, Patricia Phillips, Granddaughter, Betheny Mehall, Brother, James Cutlip; Sisters, Genevieve Singleton, Genelda Chapman, Maxine Silvestro Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 4, 2012, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Her daughter-in-law, Wanda Rucks will be officiating. Friends will be received 10:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
