Emma Nicholson

Emma Nicholson, age 98, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Starkey Place Nursing Home in Painesville. She was born December 15, 1923 in Shamokin, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Regina Thomas. Emma was a kind and generous person who enjoyed spending time with her family and just being a mom and grandma. She is  survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Richard) Todd; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Nicholson; son, James E. Nicholson Jr; brothers, Ralph and Richard Thomas and sister, Mary. Friends will be received 10 am to 12 Noon Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. The family would like to thank Starkey Place for their loving care.
