Emma L. Sines

Emma L. Sines, age 89 of Perry, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the David Simpson Hospice House. Born August 5, 1929 in Braxton, WV she was the daughter of the late Asa J. and Emma Delila (Gibson) Helmick. She married Russell Sines in Bridgeport, WV on April 6, 1946. A member of the Perry Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Emma enjoyed reading and cooking. She is survived by her loving husband: Russell; daughters: Linda (Floyd) Hall-Perry and JoAnne (Larry) Lefelhoc; son: Roger A. (Lori) Sines; grandchildren: Robert, Joseph and Jeremy Reid, Travis and Lindsey Lefelhoc, Tracy Querre, Russell, Danielle Caovan, Roger and Randy Sines; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lola Workman and Ann Marchese; brother: William Helmick. Emma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ernest (Rose) Helmick and Asa Junior Helmick; sisters, Frieda (Percy) Dawson and Era (Hayward) Drummond. Family and friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Road in Perry. Pastor Paul Bomeli will officiate the service. Committal Service will immediately follow at Perry Cemetery.
