Elsie Marian Wester

Elsie Marian Wester, age 95, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at home. She was born April 4, 1921 in Ashtabula to Hilda (Liimatianen) and John Michelson. She married Leo Wester in Selma, Alabama on January 14, 1943.
Elsie graduated in 1939 from Ashtabula Harbor High School and went on to graduate from the Dyke School of Commerce in Cleveland. She loved the outdoors, she was always walking and enjoyed nature and gardening. Elsie loved people, especially children and was truly loved by all who met her. She was a passionate reader including the classic best sellers.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (Norman) Eager of Perry, Susan Wester-Ozeki of Huntington Beach, CA, Cassandra (John) Zajicek of Carbondale, Co; son, Tim (Joanne) Wester of Louisburg, NC; grandchildren, Brett Eager, Melanie Eager, Marc Wester, Eleanor Cleverly; great-grandsons, Oliver Takahashi, Dominic Wester; and sister, Louise Eichner of Boston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo; son-in-law, Ted Ozeki; sisters, Ruth Dukes, Edith Michelson; and brothers, Allan, Norman, John, and Armand Michelson.
A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison, Ohio is assisting the family.
