As the result of a motor vehicle accident, Elmer G. Novak died on Thursday, August 30, 2007, at the age of 43.
A resident of Harpersfield Township, Ohio
Born on November 9, 1963 in Painesville to Margaret (Sabo) and Andrew J Novak, Sr.
He married Marybeth Kindig on May 11, 1985 in Painesville, Ohio
Elmer worked for Baumgardner Products and previously worked for Quail Hollow Resort and Harbor Construction. Mr. Novak also owned and operated the family grape farm with his wife.
A 1982 Graduate of Lake Catholic High School. Member Assumption Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Neo-Catechetical Way and instrumental in starting a cancer support group through the Church. He was a member of the Madison/Geneva Knights of Columbus. Also a member of the National Grape Cooperative where he was a member of the Advisory Committee. Mr. Novak enjoyed fishing, gardening, wood working and camping in his back yard in ?Camp Concord?, spending time with family, friends and especially his beloved wife, Marybeth.
Survived by: His wife Marybeth Novak; Mother Margaret Novak of Painesville; 3 Brothers Rev. Mr. Andrew (Suzanne) Novak of Perry Township; Dennis (Paula) Novak of Leroy Township & Joseph (Pat) Novak of Painesville; 2 Sisters Margaret (Rodney) Hedrick of Painesville & Barbara (Walter) Ritzannio of Painesville; 2 Sisters-in-Law Bernadette (Don) Herbster of Orwell & Bernadine (Larry) Tryon of Hartsgrove; 15 Nephews and Nieces, 21 Great Nephews and Nieces and Godfather to many.
Preceded in death by His father, Andrew Novak, Sr.
Friends and family will be received: Thursday, September 6, 2007, from 5-8 PM at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Friday September 7, 2007at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 W Main St. Geneva, Ohio.
Rev Melvin Rusnak and Rev. Mr. Andrew Novak will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Harpersfield Township Cemetery
