My deepest sympathy goes to Ida and her family. I always looked forward to seeing Elizabeth in church when I could make it to the early service. She was always happy to see me and I was happy to see her and I thought the world of her. I loved this woman dearly and, although I know she's in a better place, I will miss her and our church will feel her loss as well. Ida, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and remember, no one can take away your memories.
Will miss Elizabeth greatly. She was a big reason I stayed with GUMC from the time she brought me a loaf of fresh baked bread. Will miss her gentle presence in Women of the Bible class.
Ida- So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.
Ida, So very sorry to hear about Aunt Bette's passing. I know that Uncle Charles was there waiting for her with open arms! Our memories of both your Mom and Dad – Your mom is the one that tried to teach me to crochet (that was when your dad was a patient at ACMC). I can remember Jim and I coming to visit your mom and dad when we got engaged. I still have the book of poems and handkerchief she gave us when we got married. Lovely memories! She will be missed. Love and hugs!
Dear Ida, Elizabeth was a precious gift to all of us and you were a precious gift to her. Your loving attention to her was inspiring. I think your Mom's smile will be my strongest memory of her. It was a true smile rooted in her heart and illuminated her whole being. I am so sorry for your loss. Heidi
